Update as of 11 June 2006 Stick Your Neck Out!As part of the Napier Cytology Conference on Friday 25 th August the NZSC is hosting a workshop on head and neck. Peter Fitzgerald will present a two hour session using video camera on a multiheader microscope. We would like to conclude this session with a panel discussing 6 unusual/difficult cases from the head and neck. We are looking for cases from throughout NZ so this is your chance to get some feed back on that problem case. We would like to put 4 photos of each case on our website with clinical details so we would need either the photos (no larger than 1000x1000pixels) or slides by Friday 14th July . We would also need someone (cytotech or pathologist) from your lab to present the case at the conference. This would be on the multiheader with the video camera so no powerpoint would be required.
For further details or to submit a case please contact Sharon Waldvogel-Thurlow at DML, Auckland.

As is usually the case on Planet Cytology, nothing will be thrown away - just filed so that we we can look at it later and be smug about how obvious the mistakes were. - CJW |
